When should I use a sleeping bag?Updated 2 months ago

A sleeping bag is a safe and comfy choice for your little one. It helps prevent them from kicking off their covers, climbing out of bed, or rolling from back to tummy too easily.

Check the fit
• The sleeping bag shouldn’t be too big
• Armholes and neck opening should fit snugly
• This prevents your baby from slipping down inside the bag

Choose a safe closure
A top-to-bottom zipper helps keep the neckline secure — and stops curious little hands from unzipping it.

Winter or summer?
• In winter, a Little Dutch winter sleeping bag with sleeves plus a romper or pyjamas is often enough
• In summer, a lightweight sleeveless sleeping bag is ideal. You can add a sheet or thin blanket — tightly tucked in and made up short

That way, your baby sleeps safely and comfortably all year round 💛
